i have an 8 3/4" rear end on my dart. it has a 440 that's built up a bit. on a dyno it has 324hp and 430 ft. lbs. torque. and that was with the stock (smaller) a-body axles, and it never gave me any problems, even with slicks at the racetrack. i have moser axles on it now just to be safe!
