I've got a '77 P.W. The front axle on yours is most likely a Dana 44f with the 8 lug hub and rotor. The rear is most likely a Dana 60 full floating axle. Not too many "common problems" if it hasn't been modified. They are pretty stout trucks. The 203 gets a bad reputation, but alot of that is fluff. If it is good shape and you maintain it right, you can beat the crap out of it same as a 205. It is money well spent to order a factory repair manual from the dealer or other auto book source; you will be glad you did. Hope this helps.
