I know of several companies that do it. But the "reputable" part is the key. One that I've visited and bought wheels from is American Wheel Spec-ial-ist (Thanks Joe) in Pasco, WA. They are a wholesaler for the big west coast Les Schwab chain of tire dealers. I have no other relationship with the company. If you live in the Schwab service area you'd need to work through your local Schwab dealer. If you live east of Schwab's service area they'd work directly with you.

What interests me so much about these red wheels is their construction. To my (reasonably well schooled) eye they have what's called a 15° bead profile which is used on truck type rims. I'd guess industrial given their width. These are the kind that are sized in half inch increments, 16.5, 17.5, 19.5, and 22.5. The fact of them having the centers welded to the flat of the rim (ledge weld) rather than to the drop center (well weld) for offset reasons makes me wonder what size rim they used and what was done to make them accept the donor PW wheel centers. Sometimes centers have to be cut down to fit the new rims which can then mess with drum clearance. All this is why I was hoping the fellow knew more about them. Stu
