It is Imron, just an off brand of it, without some of the other methyl-ethyl bad sh!t. It dries to the touch in about an hour, 15 hours before buffing. Hotter days much quicker, you can also speed it up by using an accelerator, or if to hot a retarder. I still would give it a good 24 hours at about 75 degrees bofre the buffing. If you are using the devilbiss w/hvlp, it is more than likely you will not have to buff, just polish. There is a sying in this business, if it works fast, it isn't good. But I have been using this product on the Seagrave trucks that I do for 2 years, each with tremendous results. As far as safety, if you are spraying small amounts (in other words, not the entire vehicle) you should be OK with a typical mask and pre-filters. If you spray it on a daily basis, outside air and full enclosed suit are a must. Once it is applied, stay out of the room for awile as the fumes are worse for you than the paint mist. Once the paint has taken a good set (about 15 munutes) it should be OK. Hope this helps you out. Some of the stuff I sprayed for Seve's truck needed no buffing at all....that's how fast it sets.
