As far as I am concerned guns are not off topic on a truck site.Maybe on a site that they discus sushi and quiche recipes and the best place to get your ear pierced.But nothing compliments a good truck like a good gun.I have no real world experience with a 17 caliber but the henry rife is a nice one.I once had a savage 24 in 410 and 22 mag. I sold it after I discovered how much 22 mags cost at the time and I could handload my o3a3 a bit cheaper then feeding a 22 mag.However that aside if that does not bug you go get one. Steve
