I once traded a case of beer and two live chickens to some Mexicans who helped us get out of the sand near Puertecitos. It was 120 degrees in the shade, my buddy was passed out from the heat. These guys came along in an old Chevy and had us out in no time. They jacked my '51 Ford Woody up and laid our sleeping bags under the rear wheels, drove a bit, did it again, and it was out.
