Hi Todd, yes the napa pump has a plastic impeller also. Both times the pump cost and labor were just about dead even. first repair was for new pump, rad fluid and a new belt. I could have done this myself but was stranded both times. It infuriates me that, #1 the dealer mechanic sucked and #2, the cheap a$$ plastic part is crap to begin with. probably made in china too !There is probably a aftermarket pump out there but ive already spent enuff.
