as a matter of fact I do. I have my very high quality compass and a cheapie for backup. Also back up is a Peet Brothers Altimeter for following contour lines. On Day hikes, my Bomb Pak is equipped for a unexpected overnight Bivy if need be. And a Colt Anaconda
