In 1972, while living in San Diego, CA, I bought an M1 Carbine. I enjoyed that weapon for only a few months. My car broke down and, needing cash I regretfully sold it. A few months later I moved to Florida. Three years later, I had the urge to acquire another carbine.Of all the gun shops around, I was drawn to one particular store. I examined the inventory and there it was. I remembered the serial number. I bought it back and it is still at home. What are the odds?
