Finished beveling the shoes. Result-less rub. Contributing factor to tightness- Hub nut too tight. Backed it off 1/8 turn. Turns more freely. When back on the road, I'll give it about fifty miles and recheck both sides. Hopefully bearings will have set by then. Thanks for all your help guys.
