But if you load it up, then the load will overcome the friction.
Many spring packs are rusted solid, so ride really sucks. I lubed mine by jacking it up, supporting by the frame, brushing 90wt in, and stepping on the hubs, altenately down-up, to work the lube in between the leafs. Spread sawdust first.
