Trying to bolt a 3053a up to a sae 2 engine hosuing without using the adapter by using the newer 5 ton 5 speeds clutchhousing instead of buying the $500 adapter from the casting store that is a sae 3 to sae 2 engine flywheel housing. Strange to me to, confirms the chance that the 5 ton does have that alum adapter due to have a sae 2 housing on the 5 speed in the first place, so them just put the 5 ton 5 speed trans housing on the m 35 housing to avoid its sae 3 on the 3053a m35 tranny??
