I have been told the spicer in the 5 ton uses a SAE#2 clutchousing that can be swaped out onto the spicer 3053a with the SAE#3, that way i avoid the $550 adapter, I posted the question over at Steel Soldiers but there not much for thinking outside of the box with swaping around the 5 and 2 1/2 ton tranny clutchhousings.
