I guess back in the forties, 'dry' was a luxury.
All of my cabs needed to be tortured into alignment. Ratchet straps and pipe clamps. Plus whacking the cab details with a dull cold chisel to get the belt line crease to line up with the crease in the doors.
But your mileage may vary, my own belt line crease only needs a bit of baby powder. ;)
