Todd, there used to be a site on the web that was dedicated to old fans, I disremember what it is right now though. I myself collect emerson fans with the "bullwinkle blades", run almost silent and make plenty of air. most of the old fans were great at moving air. my oldest is an emerson made in 1914 that weighs about 35lbs, ALL cast iron, brass cage, brass blades. pat. dates on blades 1899. big following on fan collecting!! good luck, go forth and find more fans!
