Tires are not round. Mount them and put a block next to them and check the run out where the belts meet. I run nylon highway 7.50 16's on my truck since it is a factory stake body and has duals on the back. They are the only ones that will fit dualed up. Yes I run the truck around to warm up the tires and get them "round" before they are shaved. New tires settle in on the rim during this run in. Another reason that I use these tires is that they were free! I can't remember what they charged. My shop has a machine that trues the tire on the vehicle and they balance them on the vehicle.
