Toyo "Open Country" truck tires were never would I would consider their "cheapie" brand, but two developed bubbles on the sidewalls. They told me it was my fault for overloading them. As for the split rims, I've generally found that the big Les Schwab stores in the rural towns (farming and logging) generally do split rims and often have a separate building or bays for truck work. I believe their prices are set at a corporate level, and so I assume $33 for labor and another $33 for a tube is the new price for the stores that still do split rims. When the shop down the street charges $18.50 for labor and $22 for a tube (and doesn't start out by assuming I'll need a tube or telling me I'd be better off buying a new wheel), I know where my business is going.

Overall, I would say that their quality used to be okay, their prices used to be good, and their service used to be excellent. Now their quality is okay, their prices are very high, and their service is okay.
