Phillips Screw company is a few guys who control the OLD patent of Phillips. It expired so they came up with "ACR Phillips".

There are a few recesses in aerospace along with this: "hi torque" a weird hour glass recess used in older B-52's, "torque set" used VERY common about everywhere which is an "offset" phillips, "ACR 'phillips' which is a tiny little ribs put in the "out" side of phillips hence "Anti Cam Ribout" to supposedly keep the driver IN the recess during removal, list goes on.....
