Don't feel bad. Some people hit objects while going forward at 2 miles per hour.
In 2001 while I was gassing up my 77 GMC, 4 door Daulie complete with a MASSIVE custom receiver, a car pulled into the gas station right behind me.
He slowed down to a crawl as he came along side the pumps. As I leaned on the bedside of my truck with my left arm and held the gas nozzle with my right hand, I realized he was not going to stop.
He hit my truck square in the receiver. I and my truck rocked forward and then backwards leaving two square dents in his hood.
I did not flinch. He did not get out of his car and I did not stop pumping gas for I knew exactly what the damage was.
He got $5.00 gas and when he backed up to pull out of the station, I was still pumping gas and saw the damage on his hood.
Time for a cheesey hood ornament!!!
Glad to know everyone is home safe and had a great time at the Rally.
