The combat rim will take slightly longer to fix a flat using an impact wrench and it is a heavier rim than the lock ring rim, so expect to have less power and use more gas on the highway. If the combat rim locks are still installed with the NDT, they will not work unless you intend to use a Military spec. tire with the same bead width as the original tire. It really comes down to the look you like.
