We change all our gear oil every 30,000 miles with good old regular gear oil. Never had a problem. MY feeling is synthetic stuff is just another way oil CO can make more money. But if your changing it for the first time at 180xxx then I would change it and then a short time later 100 miles I would doit agin to flush it out. You would still have to add the limited slip stuff. And if you not going to change it again for another 180xxx miles I would use synnthetic oil. Good luck. The Dodge boys.
