According to my 1958 sale-mans book I have, in 1958 17.5 tubeless rims were standard, with 8-17.5 tires. There is almost a whole page in the book about, the tubeless rims being standard on all dodge trucks (except W300M) for 1958, as being safer, easier to service, etc,, then the split ring rims. 16" split ring rims were still available but were optional according to the book. Trucks with 16" rims would have had 7.50-16's tires. 19.5 tubeless rims with 8-19.5 tires were also optional, for W100's and W200's

As far as tire tread goes, you could get them with either mud & snow tires, or they had a more highway tread tire also. NDT's look to only be available on the W300M power wagon and the W300 power giant power wagon, both with 9.00-16 tires.

Here is a scan I have of a factory photo, at the proving grounds, a original 1958 W300 and note it has 9.00-16 NDT's on it.
