With all of the other suggestions and your diligent re-inspections, adjustments;
1) How much adjustment was necessary when you checked the valve lash each time, and was the same valve or valves out of adjustment each time? Could it be a bent push rod? 2) if one plug looks wet or has more carbon on it than the others, it could be a bad plug. Recently I have found new plugs don't always act like new ones, even right out of the box.
