I have a 93 diesel with a auto. From brand new if it sits more than a day it will not move in any gear for about 15 seconds. I took it back and the dealership could not find anything wrong. They got the factory involved and the said it would be fine dont worry about it. It now has 293,000 miles still does it and I have never had any other problems out of it.( knock on wood since I said that) I park on flat ground but I bet it would roll if it was on a hill. I dont know if this helps any or not.
