Tappet wrenches are about a foot long, open end wrenches. Lets teh ends bounce up and down with less disturbance to hands. I guess if you lower the rpms enough, it is more doable, even with regular longish wrenches. Watch the oil pressure- I had a 230 idling at FIFTY rpms once, then looked at the gauge, zip for oil.

Hmm, thought just struck me (OOWW!) Maybe those long wrenches keep your knuckles away from the hot manifold? Could pay for themselves is savings on salve!

Maybe I'll try welding extensions to my wrentions, for blisterateron preventions? A Dr. Suess invention ?
