Seems then trucks and cars were fixable repairable . You could hook a chain to a frame and pull it out of a ditch . Real chrome , radiators you could solder . The quality of the car by the sound of the door closing soundly . Big old V8s that pulled like the devil . Grease fittings every where .Full size spare tires that you could rotate and a jack that lifted the car with out laying on the ground ,yes a bumper jack . And a half ton that would carry a ton or more even if the front wheels caught some air at times . Yes you could get a boost and it wont melt down I wonder sometimes we didnt get a head but fell to the teckies ~ Copey
