You can turn the poly pan around too, but you lose the ability to check your oil!
I ran into this same issue when I pot a poly in my Power Wagon. Dave Cirillo (www.jobrated.com) had a brandy new pan he sold me very reasonably. Dave is a great guy to deal with, and always reasonable!
