I also think your imaging things about the tire being drug or w/c being frozen up. To me it looks like they must have had a good amount of rain, and some of the gravel must have washed away, and I think that is what your seeing under the truck in a few pictures.
Every picture I see of the truck it is on gravel not dirt. And I would think a frozen w/c would NoT keep the truck from rolling, maybe a frozen brake shoe?
