Well after 19 long years on my WC-12, I finally replaced the 900-16 NDT's on my truck. I had bought them new from Wallace Wade and installed them myself. I did the samre thing this time. The difference was I had the M-37 wheels sandblasted and powercoated this time. Boy did they come out looking nice. Like the last time, I used 3 1/2" thick by 4' wide by 13&1/2 long steel plate which had slits cut into them. I fit the slit end of the plate into the wheel hole and slide the plate outward over the wheel and split ring. This way in case the ring blew, the plate would hold the ring from flying off like a Polaris missle. I like the M-37 wheel over the 1/2 ton Wheel; the ring is much larger with a deeper inner flange and when you fit it properly into the grooove of the wheel, it "Snaps " in place. I took my time and had no problems whatsoever.
