Thanks, same procedure in my M's TM9-8031-2/TO19-75-A-100 Manual (printed 1953), but the wear limit was 0.007
Sounds like they may have increased the limits in later printings.
It's all back together and lubricated so I hope my post trip inspection continues to not turn up any issues.
