They never offered duals that I know of(however judging by the dually set with the spacer being offered they may have, but that may have been for special orders for railroads or who knows) except for the earlier wc half tons which are 750 rims which are narrower so by the time they are offset enough to clear each other when mounted(each one the same offset)they donīt hit the drum, however if you use 900īs they are wider so by the time they are offset to clear each other due to their width the inner wheel needs to fit over the drum but the drum is a hair taller than the inside diameter of the wheel so the outside of the drum needs to be turned down so the inner dually will slide over it and or better yet use the factory spacer which moves the whole dually set up out an inch. therefore the inner dually does not need to clear the drum as it is now outside of it. Hope this makes some sense to you.
