After an absence of 7 or 8 years I find myself attracted back to PW...... first love never fades.
Been working restoring Canadian Military Pattern 1940 Chevrolet 4x4 right hand drive.
Recently dusted off the 1956 C4 PW.... but althoguh ran when last parked about 4 years ago, the relatively new engine has seized.
After flushing the innards with diesel fuel and tugging gently witht he farm tractor she will not budge. Plans are now to pop the head and see what we will discover.
Would welcome comments and non destrcutive suggestion to free up the engine.... otherwise she off to the engien stand for an internal examination.
To my surprise, I am still listed on the wall of fame "shame in my case" so many thanks to all the continuing efforts from Joe and I made a small contribution for my future use of the forum.
