If you really want a PW, make an offer based upon the assumption the engine is shot and will, at a minimum, need a rebuild. Trying to start it in the field with little knowledge and fewer resources is a looser.

I've found it's generally cheaper and a lot easier to get a complete running, driving truck. Consider your find a parts truck for the truck you really want. If it actually start up and runs well, then you are ahead.

Remember, this truck was parked for a reason. The brakes will undoubtedly need re-building. Since you will have the front end apart you will then probably find a need to replace the bushings, bearings and seals, and probably other things too. Fairly expensive and time consuming.

Then there's tires and on and on. Are you sure you want to spend the money and invest the time? Great if you do, but go in with your eyes wide open.
