My opinion; Your wasting your time out in a field trying to start old iron that has sat for who knows how long !
Here's the deal. Look over the FFPW, make an evaluation on what it will take to make a nice truck. In that evaluation, consider the engine stuck (not necessarily a big deal). Now find out what you can buy it for. If your not sure of a price, take pictures for us to look at. Give us a good evaluation of the condition. If the price is right, buy it and bring her home.

Reviving a Sleeping Beauty. At your home, you have all the time in the world to fire her up properly and not do damage. In the field...forget it.
