You're right dogs can be just as bad, especially the crazy dogs raised by crazy dopers who get their jollies teaching their dogs to be mean. I knew a kid who had a bull dog mutt of some sort and he gave that dog every kind of booze and dope that the kid used, from when it was a pup. One day an older lady came over and the dog just jumped up and sunk his teeth into her arm and messed it up pretty bad. They killed the dog, but I can hardly even blame the dog. It was the owner that's the problem.
It doesn't matter what breed they are. I've only gotten bit by a dog once, when I was a teenager. I had a ski jacket on and he went for my shoulder, but didn't get much tooth through the jacket. It was a purebred golden retriever. They're supposed to have "gentle mouths", but this one sure didn't. Most "mean" dogs, you just look them in the eye and they back up, snarling the whole time. It's the silent ones that get you.
