I would rather put the 2-barrel on it, but that would mean getting a different manifold as well. This is our secondary trolley and everything about it is worn to some degree or another. I believe it was originally built by "Minibus" back around 1975 and for most of its life it was rode hard and put away wet. I have to always use some judgment about how much to fix or improve on it. After I get the bad valve fixed, my goal with the carburetor is just to improve the drivability so it's easier to start, doesn't stall, and doesn't backfire. Whatever power and fuel economy we get out of it will be okay.
