I've messed with a few 70's w200s. In '75 the military started using them, known as M880s. The military manuals I have state a tire size of 9.00x16.5s, although 700s seem to work OK. Civilian wheels can be found with a 16" diameter.
If your transfer is a full time unit, the main thing the manuals stress is not to fill it with 90 weight but use 30w engine oil instead.
