I was up in the UP this summer and Was showing a freind and his neigbor a few pics of some of the trucks I had. Well at that time I had the '51 C-1-Power Wagon and one of the guys that seen the pics said "My grandpaw had two of 'em and a WWII Command car on the farm. He and my uncles just cut them up and hauled them off 3 years ago..." Boy! talk about being bummed out! I woulda had them hauled back down state and even gave him a few hundered bucks to boot! Bummer....a few years ago, I coulda bought a SUPER NICE 63 W-200 Crew Cab Ex-Air force rig with winch for $150. All that it needed was a new engine as the slant six in it was sized. Still had 17.5 wheels. I woulda bought it but Dad would not let me bring it home. I went back last year to see about it and he ended up giving it to a scrapyard! That truck had a super nice body! Talk about being bummed....
