Low oil pressure on a 77 M882 (w200)

I just picked up a military version W200 , someone changed it from 24 volt to 12 volt, It reads low oil pressure. I have not put a real gauge on it yet. Is there a diffrent sending unit for 24 volts??? Boy my neibors are gonna be pissed, A camoflouged painted truck within their sight HAHAHAHAHa
