After replacing the toasted battery the engine would spin but not fire, checked spark...no spark. Replaced electronic ignition box...no spark. checked ballast resistor, FRIED! so I replaced that...VROOMM!

Now that she runs. The volt meter reads 13.5 at idle, cold, 14, hot. As rpm increases voltage goes to 14-14.5 cold and pegs at 16 hot. Whasamattah here? I'm still chasing stray wires, voltage regulator is new (but a cheap generic one)alternator is new (possibly the wrong type?)Ground cables go from battery to block to frame to firewall/volt regulator.

Any more sugjestions?
