A spring shop here in Boise said the material in the old springs was superior to the material being produced now and he sugested re-arching the spring pack and replacing the main spring only with a new spring. It would cost around $100-$125 for a WC, to go this route. A whole new set would be around $250. Of course this is just an estimate.
