What engine will bolt up to an M37 bellhousing?

Since I have decided to rebuild my 230, of course someone came up w/ a 360 he says will bolt up to my M37 bellhousing. What engines in what years will bolt up to the M37 bellhousing? Also What low gear ratio does a 727 have?
