To all that responded with USEFUL information (Charlie, David, Brian) many thanks. Yes, you caught me. I am a Chevy guy who just happens to have a cool (but barely running) farm truck in the form of an M37. I also have an extra 350, henceforth the wish to combine dependability with bombproofing. I may just look into that Helitool adapter for a 318. If it will make the truck go and start when I need it to, I'll go for it. I was not aware anything was made for this.
As for the rest of you who only know how to spout off mindless mantras - thanks for the chuckles, it reminds me that there still are hardcore, close-minded people out there who still believe in the saying: "I'd rather push my that drive a Chevy" Hey- have you tried pushing one of those things lately? Good luck. And thanks again.
