Hi all,
some compressor oils have waxes in them which should not be put into a refrigeration system (A/C)the wax can separate and make the whole system usless - almost unrepairable
Ring up a local refrigeration engineer or appliance service centre and talk nicely to them, explain the problem and they will likley give you a litre of the proper oil.. at the worst it will only cost a couple of dollars and save ruining the whole system.
