I found a 58 (or 9) D500 in a local wrecking yard, ex Navy truck that has a newer propane powered LA small block....with a 5 speed behind it! my question is, is there any way to tell wether it's a clark or a new process etc. etc.? The shift pattern feels like your standard "H" with reverse left and forward and 5th right and forward. This ring any bells? BTW it feels tight, not sloppy like the 445 in my W200.
