I had me a time findin a 230 thet wasnt cracked somewheres or alreddy bored out to .60 over. If ya caint get out and dig aroun ole reckin yards, check out ole machine shops not them new fancy ass ones with punks runnin the show, find ya one with a crusty ole man in dirty coveralls ask him real kindly like and he will probly set you out lookin, bewarey 218 an 230 is the same block, easiest way to tell the diffrence is that a 230 has got 8 bolts in the flywheel and the 218 only got 4, If ya find a real good 218 hang on to it cuz ya kin releve the block to accept the longer throw on a 230 crank. Its easier to work with a 230, less machinin, and ya still would have to find ya a 230 crank. If ya get real desperate dont fergit them fellers over at Vintage Power Wagon, they will soak ya around 1800 simolians fer one a their engines but you kin bet yer bottom dollar its a goodin. Crazy
