Can't be coming from the manifold, odds are it's running down from the valve covers.
The B/RB is one of the tougher engines to seal the V/C's on, the best thing you can do is buy quality gaskets, and make sure the V/C is straight on the flange (use a 2X4 layed along the flange and hammer on the outside edge), and definately don't overtighten. I use the rubber fel-pro's and don't usually have too much trouble, and I use a 3/8" drive that resembles a screwdriver handle to tighten mine, you can't get too much torque using that tool and generally eliminates over-torquing, if you've got a 1/4" drive handle I'd use that.
