what do they look like? are they just corroded from sitting all winter ? burned? have a big spike on one side and a hole on the other? did you put a ballast resistor on the key to coil wire when you converted to poly/ 12 volt or run a resistor coil? if you park ouside all winter they sometimes will get corroded and a folded in half piece of 180 grit or a points file passed a few times thru should clean them up.
