Thanks for that advice, been at it a long time too, just a new saw though.... I always have eye, ear, and gloves and I'm already missing my right foot so I keep that one closest to the saw. Ha ha. The bigger the saw, the bigger the kick. I'm Mr. Careful and always try to take a good long look at any tree before I fire up the saw. Chaps and a hard hat would be a good investment too.
