if it is the same size as stock it should be fine. But, is it the same thickness? stock cores are quite thick and the tanks are huge. Aluminum cools much faster than brass/ copper but it maxes out its ability to cool liquid at a much lower temp. the brass/copper will keep absorbing and disippating heat way beyond where an aluminum cannot. but look how small the modern aluminum radiators are even in trucks with V8s. they work fine. personally I like the brass/copper stuff for longevity but they have become quite expensive also.
